Here's a fun one. Transformers: The Movie (1986), If you're old enough - you'll remember this movie for the death of Optimus prime. For me, that one scene of Megatron's transformation has stuck with me. The crisp, glowing wireframes. The pulsing grid lines. The sheer sense of awe. I didn’t know it then, but this was the aesthetic that would shape me as an artist.

I’ve always been drawn to the look of early '80s 3D—neon grids, glowing edges, deep-space wireframes. That retro-futuristic style, with its raw, analog charm, is a constant in my work. Now, as a UI designer, I finally had the chance to pay a bit of homage to that scene.
