Glass Dash is a personal retro-futurist cockpit concept inspired by the automotive dreamscapes of the late 70s and 80s. Left intentionally ambiguous between car and aircraft, it explores an era of optimistic futurism defined by segmented VFD displays, illuminated glass instrumentation, and dense tactile interfaces.

Growing up surrounded by that visual language, I’ve always been drawn to the bold experimental interiors of concept vehicles - where technology felt mechanical, colorful, and alive. This piece builds on that obsession: a compact woven array of illuminated glass panels designed to feel both speculative and functional. Not everything here is practical, but the goal was realism at a glance - something that feels usable, ergonomic, and believable before you start questioning what it actually pilots. Built as a spare-time study for fun, exploration, and learning.
Modeled in Plasticity, rendered in Blender, UI designed in Figma, animated in After Effects.
